OMG!!!!! lex, you are a GENIUS, and i owe you an apology. i've read all your fics except this cause i thought it sounded corny. should have known something by you would be anything but corny *sniff sniff*. can you ever forgive me?

i read it all at one sitting practically and loved every minute, especially when sasuke got a hold of himself and was able to beat itachi rationally. ;-)

    you rock!

I don't have an account on here, but I don on ff.net. I have reviewed before, but I just finished rereading it again. I enjoyed it just as much, if not more then, the first time. The story line is beautiful. It has everything: drama, tragety, romance, humor and adventure aans action. I truly do applaude(sp) you. Thank you again for writing this. Well...ja ne! Adeui! Ciao!

Ah, I enjoyed your story so so much. Sadly I don't have the time to review properly since I have to run now before I miss my train. But I really really liked it.
    Thankyou.

Hello, I'm not signed in (sorry! can't remember my password... eheh), but I wanted to review for two reasons. First, I am very much enjoying your story. It is creative and interesting and entertaining and well-written, along with everything else of yours that I have read thus far (I am absolutely IN LOVE with 'The Demilitarized Zone' and will leave a review as soon as I can come up with words of praise that are directly proportional to its greatness), save for one or two teensy things, which leads me directly to reason #2, AKA Mini-Grammar Lesson.

Please don't take offense, because for the most part I blame Spell Check for what seems to be a very popular downward trend in the quality of English grammar nowadays, but still, I tend to develop eye twitches when I see little things like the misuse of apostrophes and confusion with "too" and "to" in what is otherwise a stellar (fantastic, amazing, hilarious, stupendous... insert a positive adjective of your choice here) piece of writing. It frustrates me to no end, actually. I have to put up with horrible spelling and grammar on a daily basis (I decipher the bad handwriting, spelling, and grammar on thousands of inpatient, outpatient, and clinical surveys eight hours a day, five days a week, and somehow remain sane), but it is different when the person otherwise seems to have a firm grasp on what they are writing about in all other areas save that one.

See, typically (in English, anyways - not sure about other languages aside from a dim recollection of having taken French in high school), to make a word plural you simply add an 's' to the end of it; in some cases you add 'ies' and drop a 'y.' The only two reasons you would ever add an apostrophe to a word is to indicate possession, i.e., "The teme's attitude was unbearable," or a contraction, i.e., "don't" "we've" "I've" "let's" etc. "It's" is one of those bizarre exceptions that is correctly spelled with or without an apostrophe, but which way you spell it depends on if you meant it as a contraction of "It is" or as a way of saying that something belongs to "it" i.e., "The baby lost its pacifier."

I'm sure this is not new to you. Like I said, I mostly blame Spell Check for this, because even though not everyone is as nitpicky about this kind of stuff as I am - when I write at all, which isn't often because I have no time in spite of having no life, I tend to go over everything five or six times with a fine-toothed comb before I even think about submitting it - they still at least check for spelling errors, and one of the fastest and easiest ways to do this is to use Spell Check.

However,! (And yes, that was intentional, and should be read as "However comma exclamation point" - if I am indeed a "Grammar Nazi" as my friends have labeled me, I might as well have fun with it, right?)

Spell Check has a very limited vocabulary to begin with - if it happens upon a singular word it does not recognize, its way of dealing with this is to underline it with a red squiggly line and come up with similarly spelled suggestions of what you might have possibly meant. If it happens upon a plural word it does not recognize, its way of dealing with this is to underline it with a red squiggly line and tell you to stick an apostrophe between the root word and the 's' and then it will come up with... no other suggestions on how to correct it, but if the "fix" does not satisfy it, the squiggly red line will not go away until you command it to ignore it.

Also, Spell Check (and its bastard child, the poorly-designed and basically worthless Grammar Check) does not seem to recognize that there is a difference between the usage of "to" and "too." "Too" means "also" or "overly," i.e., "I want to go too" or "That was too much salt, use a little less next time." "To" is one of those strange parts of the English language that can only be defined in how it is used, but suffice it to say that if you replace the word "too" with "also" or "overly," you will know whether or not it belongs in the sentence you are constructing or if you should use "to" instead.

If I could, I would email Mr. Bill Gates himself and tell him exactly what I think about his so-called intelligence for allowing such a flawed program loose upon the unsuspecting world for so many years without bothering to improve upon it. For that matter... well, my opinion of Vista and other Microsoft BS aside, I would have rather emailed you directly instead of having to leave this in your reviews (I would have much preferred to leave a less critical review for the world to see, because I truly do enjoy your work), but because I can't find my password, I can't log in, and so I couldn't see your email address. Thus, my only means of communication with you is through this medium. Should you wish to email me in return, I've provided my email address above, but in case that doesn't show, for whatever reason, it is katwingz18@hotmail.com - feel free to email me back, I will welcome your response.

    Sincerely,

    ~katwingz

*whimpers, whines, sobs, and practically bawls eyes out*

ok, a little better now.... *sniffs* so.. where to start....
my biggest coodles to the story as a whole. utter joy at the two kids, and cheers for both itachi and the snake- sannin dying. they both deserved it. and i am finding that i like your works a lot. i am very impressed with the theory of "i do it cause i can and no one can stop me" with the whole chakra thing and naruto's abilities. and my favorite pair of scenes... naruto vs kiba showdown, and the mental meeting between naruto and gaara when the demon carriers first met. ot spawns inspiration in a fellow writer. keep up the good work and i hope to read many more stories from you!!
