    You know I wasn't going to review because I couldn't think of something to say, fifthteen minutes later after moving onto another story a thought struck me. I want to write an in-depth story as good as this. My character grasp is limited to happy kittens and puppies I still haven't dug to 'underneath the underneath'. I suppose if anything that's good to hear yes?

    I love it when you update.

    Good chapter. I'm really getting into this fic. I seriously like how you're writing Gai - finally, he gets to be a character with depth. The hospital flashback at the end was touching, and disturbing at the same time.

    Favorite paragraph - the one that ends with "He’s probably broken one hundred times over only to put himself back together again in ways only Kakashi can think of." Love that line.

    I wait in eager anticipation to see how this progresses.

    Ah yes... Mmm, very happy to see chapter 2 of this. I love how deep you get into Kakashi's and Gai's characters. I also like the past you give Gai, and the way you have Sakumo proud of his son. This was intense and very nice. There are so many little things you have in here that I enjoyed; like Gai's explaining the difference between their apartment - his being warm and colorful and Kakashi's being cold and dark. I also liked the interplay you used - how you separated making love to fucking. Not many do that.

    The flash backs where pretty easy to decipher, and the flow was pretty nice as well. Looking forward to chapter 3. :3

    Hi :) Me again. I think this story is off to a good start. I was a little confused with the time jumps but for some reason my brain didn't really mind so much. Mostly I like your writing because it's always different and unique. And stylish. My favourite story is still December by far, but I'll probably watch this one too (along with all your others). I like all your stories. They make me run to my computer every couple days to check if you've updated haha. Maaaan I'm sad. But seriously, I'm anxious to know how things turn out! haha I like that you're trying new things too! But don't forget about December!! But then... I don't want you to write just to get something updated.... gah! O_O it's a tough call! I want more! But I want you to take your time with it! *shuffles off muttering pros and cons*

    I really enjoyed it. Very introspective, well written. I didn't have any problems following it. I like that you put Gai in it. Not many people are willing to write him into more serious fanfictions. The paragraph that begins with "Gai said nothing in response. Kakashi probably didn’t want him to.." was awesome.

    I look forward to reading more. (Also looking forward to more December. And more Kaka/Gen. But no hurry! :) )

    Sweet. I've actually been waiting to see this.

    So far, it's a little hard to follow, but I think I got it; the jumps and all. I love the psychological angle you are taking on this. Also, the parallels you are using between the two; it's so refreashing to know other people see what I see, and are appling it.

    This has great promise. I *WILL* be watching out for the next chapter. :D

    it's good but it seems to be a pain in the ass to write though

    really love it; gai/kakashi stuff is hard to come by, unlike the common iruka/kakashi. Eh still it's really interesting how you go into their mindsets and what not.

    Oh and Gai is older than kakashi by about seven months....if it helps Gai-sempai is a capricorn and Kakashi is a virgo/leo or a mix (checks it again) I believe he is a leo but I am going by my own mindset ^^;

    still keep it up, it's going great.

    That was intense. I like this new style and the way you wove the present and past together so seamlessly. Gai's perspective is interesting. I'll definitely be watching this one.
