One word; Masterpiece.

I truly ADORE the way this fic is written. You are very gifted.
I usually never read AU because I don't find them intriguing but I stumbled upon your story when I was
searching for KisaIta fanfiction and since there aren't really that many fics I decided to give it a shot
even if it was AU.
I do not regret starting to read this.
The way you write Itachi and his behaviour and psychosis, it's so intriguing I can't stop reading!
And how him and Kisame make slow progress.
And all the people inbetween. Sasuke, Kakashi, Iruka, Genma, Raidou.
I am really looking forward to the next chapter.
Whatever you do, DON'T stop writing this! :O

Wow that was soo good! I almost cried when Itachi said sorry to Sasuke, I'm glad the 'good doctor' was able to talk some sense into him. I mean poor Sasuke, his so naturally trusting and curious that its hard for him not to like someone that is so nice to him, and smiles 17 times in one night. But gosh, Sasuke is such an intelligent 9 year old, figuring out that Kakeshi loved Obito and all. Ahh... and Iruka is definitely a disturbance in their lives.

OMG Itachi actually likes someone! Thats something. I hope he does continue going to his Thursday appointments!

Well worth the wait, but can't wait for more!

God would it be ok if i copied this, printed it and put it in a file with your name on it so i can read it all the time? Your story makes me cry...laugh...everything...it's just reaches out so much, you have no idea how much i love this and if you did and love was water you would be drowned in it as the author. I just love the perspectives and since in real life i love itachi and think of him as my bf (only for ff.net purposes otherwise i like hotohori from fy)...well in all the omake for my fics anyway,this just makes me love it so much more. i love kisame in this, he's just so real and i wish this was a movie or something cos i'd watch it a hundred times tho i'm not the telly kind of girl. i wait for your updates and enjoy this fic reading it twice when you've updated just soaking it all up. e-mail me if you have the time, i'd love to get to know someone like you. my e-mail is makkura_arashi@hotmail.com incase it doesn't show up or is hidden. i showed my friend this and she read it the whole night through without sleeping cos she loved it. Okay, now I've got my words back. ^_^ This chapter is gorgeous. Kisame's inner dialogue on his father and his job and his life and what he's trying to do for Itachi - so good. I loved the dinner scene, even if it made me uncomfortable. Or maybe because it made me uncomfortable - the tension, the silent battle, Kisame trying so hard not to play by Itachi's dirty rules... and Itachi didn't even realize he was playing dirty. And poor Sasuke, trying so hard to do what he was asked, but Number Eleven is just so *nice*, charming him without even trying too hard. (Then again, the two men who are prominent in the kid's life aren't exactly charming, so I guess he's not used to that kind of thing.) Ha ha, I loved how Kisame was so fascinated by watching Itachi eat.

I do feel bad for Iruka - he doesn't realize that he's stumbled into a really screwed up dysfunctional almost-family. It seems like he can never really be a part of it, wither - there are so many things he doesn't know, and that he isn't going to be told. He isn't going to just take it, deal with it, like Sasuke does. 'If he were an adult, he'd be perfect for me.' Gahhh... (coherent, I know.) Just as Kakashi has become important to Sasuke, now the opposite is glaringly obvious, as well. Kakashi was *concerned* about him.

The cemetary scene... achingly beautiful. Ouch. My favorite scene. The leaves, the blanket, them kneeling on either side of the tombstone - I almost drew that instead, but I just thought the porch scene would come out better. Favorite line from this chap: 'He�s here. I always feel him here as smoke, a thick, overwhelming, hazy presence that enters my lungs and spreads. I can�t breathe him out.' It's become *their* ritual now... I feel like Sasuke is good for Kakashi, even if Kakashi isn't sure. 'I'll let him follow if he wants...': loved that paragraph.

Itachi and Kisame in the park: Yes! Finally - Itachi is admitting it to himself. He does need somebody to trust. This makes me happy. ^_^ And, Kisame throwing him that curveball at the end - so good. Heh - Itachi deserved it, though, after the dinner scene. I liked how Itachi kept repeating himself, like it was important to him that Kisame knew he didn't hate him. I'm not sure if that's how you meant it, but - I like it anyway. Those two are starting to feel a little slashy now, just a short step away from UST (or maybe already there), what with the lip-watching and the eye-watching and the 'I don't hate you. I really don't.' ^_^

And the porch scene... Oh. My. God. Sasuke's got such a screwed up life, but he can still *hope*... his thoughts about them all living together broke my heart a little. I was so glad you ended the chapter the way you did... because they did feel a little like a family, and it was *good*, and there was love, and warmth, and they were there, together, Sasuke sandwiched between their warmth (and their craziness) but sheltered from the storm by Kakashi's dry porch.

Okay, yeah, long review. But I don't think you mind. ^_^ Your prose is beautiful, again. I don't think I can tell you how much I love this story. I look forward to seeing more.

Yes finally the chapter I've been waiting for. For a long time I was hoping for a KakashixSasuke sequel but now since they get along so well when Sasuke is old enough where is the challenge? I mean letting Sasuke sleep in his lap thats like marriage for this Kakashi. It is thrilling to know Itachi will finally break down a little since you'll be done in 5 chapters, he is going to have too. Though considering the length and wait maybe that's not so soon.

Psychologically enthralling as always. The yaoiliciousness helps too. I'm envious of your deep thinking brain, simple people make things so much easier and boring.

Such a cute chapter, cakes and pancakes, I think Itachi was almost touched when Sasuke made pancakes for him. Poor Sasuke, when he grows up or get a little older I can already see him turning into a hardened teenager. Kisame doesnt seem to be harbouring any romantic feelings for Itachi but the dinner thing is something Im looking forward to...

I love this story!! You write really good. I hope that in the next chapter, you will write with Itachi POV again, cos I find him the most interesting character. He's very different than in most other stories and I like that. I also like that your chapters are so long, you can really get into the story. I hope Itachi will open up a bit to Sasuke and Kisame, and that his condition betters. I also like that Sasuke is such a clever kid and that he deals well with all the weird things that happen around him. He's cute. I hope you will continue with this story and update as fast as you can!
