Naruto ignores him, shows very bad sexual manners then is the very picture of sanctimony.The expectations ect. are all on Sasuke to change and give in every time, to go beyond painful honesty, yeah, how horrible for a warrior to want a clean death.But its unfair to judge so much later after this was written but I find Naruto to be beyond blind,ignorant and simple in this situation and just when you think he has gained a deeper understanding.That being said the writing's boom and it's plasma hot, the plot is tight and the characters are very believable.He's actually worse then Sasuke who never pretended to care for Konoha, Who did he betray? Just thoughts, I'm caught p in this , I do not mean to offend at all.I know all this is out of date.It's still so very very clever/cool.

I'm only half way through the 2nd chapter and I gotta say I love how long you chapters are. This is really interesting and different, very unique plot for Sasuke and Naruto. I like it. But when you describe Saki it makes me laugh a little just because picturing Sasuke that way is kinda funny but you wrote their issues and conversations so serious and real it makes the story captivating. So I can't wait to read the rest.

Bad news first I didn't care for the severe stereo typing of all those bastards and dead lasts I mean yeah they say it but that was alot of bastards for one story, and Naruto saying baby that much it's creepy on him but I get that it goes with the story. That aside it was an edge of your seat kind of story always waiting for what might happen next it pulled me in and held on tight from the get go I loved all the anticipating and feeling what Naruto felt through the story I love a story that can take you there emotionally. Sasuke as girl at first glance I thought, whaaaat?! get out of town but even though I don't think he'd make a very pretty girl it surprised me how well I could really see it and it was funny and sad and intense all good stuff for a great story.

What a gripping story! I've been reading it over the past two days and I have felt in a completely different world because of it, the way I feel when I read a really compelling novel and I feel hints of the story and the emotions leak over into my day-to-day life - just because it's that good, and just because I care that much about the characters. I loved the original story (Lace + Strawberries, I think?), but I loved even more the direction you took it. Sasuke cross-dressing might seem horrendously out-of-character, yet the way you wrote it, it actually made complete sense. Which is amazing! The complicated relationship between Saki and Sasuke's own inner turmoil, and his strained relationship with the village... it was all so beautifully complicated and interwoven. I was also really really impressed with how you wrote Naruto, because I feel that in this story more than any other I've read to date, you really captured Naruto's character from the manga/anime. His incessant will and determination, his inability to give up, but also those moments where he is human and feels frustrated, sad, like giving up. It was so good. And obviously, the hot hot sex - tied up with the complexities of their relationship, rather than separated from it, which made it so real and so great. That one image of Sasuke in the bathroom the night after the ANBU interrogation, trying to dress as Saki while bruised and broken... you painted such a vivid image of it, with such heavy symbolism, it was absolutely beautiful.

Thank you for writing such a wonderful story! I look forward to reading more from you.

beautiful work. I like how you dealt with Sasuke's issues realistically, and admire how you portrayed Naruto's confusion.

The ending was beautiful and poignant. I grieve for Naruto not becoming Hokage, but even as I think it won't happen, I hold out hope that it will, much like Jiraiya.

*drops jaw* Why have I never heard of this story?? Why does it only have 8,000 hits? My eyes are sore from being glued to the screen! This story was amazing, perfect, and so beautiful. Are you a professional writer? I haven't really read a style like yours on here, it is truly talented. Wow.

Awesome story! So happy I found it. ^__^ I have to admit that the Sasuke/Orochimaru hints were REALLY disturbing but your story it just made sense. But still *yuck*... I felt so sorry for Sasuke while reading your story. Sometimes it was too much to bear and I had to stop for some minutes. How stupid is that? ^_^' Well what I'm trying to say is that it was painfully intense and really worth staying awake until 3 a.m. although I have to wake up soon for work. *sniff*

Cosmos above...I had never before read a fic that

would suck me into sadness and despair for SOOOO

long. I was teary eyed through every chapter and the

chapter when Naruto blindfolded himself...I really did

cry then. One sentence however, had me laughing my

ass off, not completely lifting away the feeling of

depression and the aura of angst that surrounded me,

but it did give me a break from it. And that sentence

was: "With all of this on his mind, Naruto had not

expected Sasuke to reappear in the training grounds,

and certainly not by kicking Naruto�s face in, out of

nowhere." ...XD

And then it all went downhill again when you revealed

that Sasuke was royally pissed! D:

"The knowledge that he had to dress in drag to be

able to express his own feelings and desires; the fact

that he had betrayed everything he loved for a vendetta

he hadn�t been able to carry out on his own; to know

that he probably loved all the things he�d left behind;

that he was a pawn to this village; that Kakashi would

probably never forgive him . . . that Naruto could hardly

forgive him -- all of those things were the truths of

Sasuke�s life, the results of his choices."

-Damn! When he puts it like that...go ahead and vent it

out Sasuke! Stress relief, man, stress relief!

"End your own life on your own terms, but don�t come

bitching to me because you couldn�t die with all the

theatrics you would have liked."

-Ho shit! You tell him, Naruto!

�FUCK THIS!� The person before him cried suddenly,

pulling the hairclip with such vicious strength that it

came off with a few clumps of hair. It was thrown on the

floor, and a platformed boot heel came down on top of

it, cracking the pearls and metal framework. Naruto

heard the splintering crunch and found a strange

sense of finality in it.

- Damn!! Let it all out Sasuke! Vent out that rage!

Smash that little clip! Smash it good! *raises a fist in

the air in approval*

"Naruto couldn�t predict Sasuke�s movements as well

as Kakashi might, so he had no idea what had brought

that conversation on, but he was determined to smooth

things out even if it killed him."

-LMFAO! Key words: even if it KILLED him. I totally

have your back Naruto! You can do it!

"Naruto shivered and stayed still as Sasuke � Sasuke!

-- leaned into him and pressed their lips together. It

was a searching kiss, not quite gentle, but not forceful

either. Naruto�s lips were nudged apart, and he

complied. He almost groaned when their tongues

touched. Sasuke deepened the kiss, flattening his

hands on the door in order to rest on his forearms and

really kiss Naruto."

-*squealing ensues* Eeeee! >< *tears of joy* T-T It

was worth it...it was sooo worth it just for this ONE part

in the fic...ALL the thick angst and depression and

torment...ALL of it was worth suffering just for that one

paragraph!

"That was my best white shirt!"

- *dies laughing too loudly, everyone in the house

probably wondering what the hell is so funny* I take it

back, THAT line is now my most favorite tension

reliever (as opposed to Sasuke kicking Naruto in the

face)!

"It was the most ridiculously vulnerable position he�d ever been in, sexually. It shouldn�t have been so arousing, but the knowledge that it was Sasuke who was doing this overrode all of Naruto�s qualms on the matter."

-Exactly! Don't look a gift horse in the mouth and STAY down! XD Let Sasuke have his moment.

*gushing tears of doom* ;o; Oh cosmos...what a beautiful ending. My heart hurts. Such a great story...a wonderful take on what might have happened after Lace and Strawberries...

And, oh boy...the Omake had me laughing my ass off. Woo...Once I went into these Lace fics, I should have known I'd never come out the same way again.

Yay! Happy ending! ^_^ i really enjoyed this story! Like I said, sweet, sexy, angsty and wonderful! And NAruto finally got Sasuke and SAsuke alone, without Saki. *sigh*

Oh this is so gooood! i was so sad that Asuka didn't write more about Saki and then Mignonne linked me to this! It's wonderful! Angsty and sexy and wonderful! And it's long! *flails in happyness* Off to read more!
