Thank you mighty god/goddess (I'm pretty sure it's the latter but I choose not to make that definaite on teh chance of insulting by getting it wrong).

Anyway! Thank you for once more supplying me with a distraction from my ever boring university work. I have gone through too many tissues and tears and loved this story while reading it this time as much as I did the last time I read it. :D It's an excellent story that looses nothing for lingering.

    Cheers! Kimra

gods, i love this story so fucking much. you're such an amazing writer, they're all perfectly in character, and you understand the naruto universe so much, and..it's just amazingly believable. i hope you write another multi-chapter fic, not sure if you have or not already... but yeah. if you have, then write another one! haha

I must say.... after reading all this. I am sooooo throughly impressed. I felt inspired myself after the whole episode of "In the Rain" by the wonderful Asuka-san!!! I adored her work with the "Saki" Chronicles of sorts. I was oddly mesmerized by the idea of Saki-chan and the wonderful fic which was my favorite NaruSasu, or Naruto for that matter, fan fic of all time the wonderful Strawberries and Lace. Oh how I loved it. ^__________^ SO when I saw this, just glancing at the review it was like some amazing dream come true!!!1 T-T

And it was also COMPLETE on top of all that. Oh god... the time I HAD to invest into reading it. And even better you were an AMAZING writer. Right down to style, technique, plot and the overall effect. I was impressed and so HAPPY to jump into a story much greater than even I could have imagined and expected. I must say I was nervous because I found the style and technique of Asuka-san to be so amazingly advanced, her idea was a hard one to grasp and the concept alone tricky to deal with. But you managed it all and MORE to follow through till the end. I must say, it doesn't have the happy perfect ending (considering no Hokage Naruto... [tear, tear]) But the reality of that and the way it was presented was so beautiful I almost prefer this outcome and understand this better. And the epilogue was a very nice and needed touch. It gives me hope that maybe in the end of Naruto (though naturally something to this caliber can be far from expected, considering the lack of mention of cross dressing Sasuke much less a Saki personality in existance.... although that would be quite and interesting turn in Kishimoto's thought. lmao) But nevertheless, I have faith maybe Sasuke can survive. And your fic also brough to life the consequences at which he may survive. As disturbing as they were. I was shaking and crying and freaking out through several emotional and stressful moments of climaxes throughout this story. Grade A material indeed. My mother watching me freaking out while I wasn't sure if you would allow Sasuke to live on top of it all!!! lol.

I also feel I should say I envy you. Being able to bring this story this far, and work with it in a way Asuka-san made it clear she couldn't bear to and probably would never. I hope she managed to find some apprecation in this work of yours as well. Considering her view of the Saki Chronicles I was quite impressed with this. And hope that maybe she can see things may not have been so far from OOC as she thought intentionally. Although the Naruto in Strawberries and Lace was a TOUCH far-fetched maybe when I think back to the uber seme-isdom of him. But nevertheless the concept and idea was not TERRIBLY far-fetched. Otherwise I don't know how this could have possibly worked. Which brings me to my next poing of being impressed. [Note: I love you and this fic so much I am posting a MUCH longer reply and/or review than I intended. Hope it is throughly ravished and appreciated! ^___~]

You managed to keep all the characters quite effectively in character and a limited amount of OOC. And your amazing ability to focus in on Naruto and Sasuke's relationship without tuning out their surroundings were beyond me. I was soooo impressed and glad to see the character development and you quite effectively and artfully managed to not only keep Naruto Uzumaki in character, but also made him such a 3D character it was breath taking. And all his trials with Sasuke... oh god. It was incredibly powerful.

Now on the topic of the power in this work. I believe the messages you send on life, love, relationships, hope, and will are very important. And the quotes were a very nice inspiring addition to this work. I must admit, you spoke directly to me and my personal life in a time of fragility (though much less than earlier... some scars do remain) and I hope your fic along with a little shove from God will help those scars to finally heal comepletely and I can begin to repair a few things and stop the hurting Sasuke can't seem to keep from doing to Naruto and beging the process of healing and loving that Naruto was so determined to keep. Most of all, I hope I have the power to continue to believe in people as Naruto does and to continue to push myself and ultimately change and face my fears in lieu of the people I care most about in the world. This work, if not stolen partial from Kishimoto and also Asuka-san, (even despite that) is on such a deep psychological level that it ranks to publishable material. And I am confident it would do well. I hope it has won a few online contests or something so you can see so further. Then again I am sure many of these over five hundread reviews were quite the postive feedback so you probably already have an idea.

Lastly I would like to mention that I am greatly in debted to you in a way. As I said before, Asuka-san seemed quite animate on her site of her lack of love for the outcome of the Saki-chan, and didn't seem to have the slightest desire, sadly, to pursue and engage in the depth of possiblities a story between Sasuke and Naruto following the desires she implanted in the story of "In the Rain" I was throughly disappointed, starving for more so bad I would reread the chapters which seemed to mean nothing alone but mere ideas scribbled down in an effort not to lose crack smut for entertainment and a possible muse of a great idea, which sadly blossomed to nothing. I rolled around the thought in my mind of working with this, and doing something myself. Though I couldn't gurantee it woud reflect yours in any manner... I am not sure I could have captured the personality of Sasuke and Naruto so throughly and effectively, not to begin to consider consistency in my writing! And for that, furthermore, I must envy you. Envy your opprotunity, talent, and... this story. This wonderful story I couldn't even begin to imagine to be able to rival. I feel I have not given the Saki Chronicles the love they deserve, but I can rest a little more peacefully knowing someone has. ^____^ And for that, as well as this story, I must thank you.

    Arigato Gozimasu.

So, was that enough for you? Gomen nasai if like the time I tracked down Asuka-chan on livejournal and praised her work this seems entirely creepy to send such an essay idolizing you of sorts. But... I don't see this so much as idolizing as being truthful. That is just how it is, and how this fan fiction as managed to make me feel. There is no way I can even begin to give and show such gratitude, in person, much less via internet. I hope to friend you on livejournal. Although I have been on somewhat of a haitus and quite absent... but I will return one day. I hope you don't mind I shall print this fic for my memory and records. And attempt to pass it on to others I believe can appreciate it the same way I have! Once again, I hope this wasn't too creepy considering Asuka-san thought so most definately. lol. Best of luck on your other works!! And my I find the time to read them! (I am sure like this one I won't regret it.)

And oh, most of all!!! Thanks so much for the NARUSASU!!! Sooooo hard to find. And thank you even more for letting me realize I *do* have an open enough mind to read a bit of SasuNaru you threw in the final beautiful lemon there. I was wary at first I admit being such an animate NaruSasu lover, but I felt the power and true need of such a method of approaching the lemon. Besides, I have always been an advocate of NaruSasu, but still believe Sasuke is still and man and will occasionally want to have his seme moments and fun anyways. (The arrogant, stubborn little teme he is, as Naruto knows. ^__~)

Once again, Danke schoen, arigato gozimasu!!!

    Sincerest regards,
    Your's Truly,

Just excellent. This entire story, beginning to end, is a pure and unadulterated *gutpunch*. Your character insight is flawless, and you have a real talent for not saying things that can just as well go unsaid. They felt *real*, and the phenomenal dialogue and attention to detail dragged me in and basically chained me to my computer until I'd finished reading ALL of it. You really have an amazing talent, and it shines through every word of this fic. I give this one 11/10. Truly a pinnacle of Naruto fiction and, really, writing in general.

    Wow.

It's been a long, long, long while since I've reviewed on aff, and for one, this only goes to show the extent to which I immensely enjoyed your "tale worth telling". Recently, I've found that nothing seemed to be able to make me cry properly. But the work of art that I read today, did just that. A perfect catharsis, with a more than perfect ending. I think it was really your epilogue that did it for me, after the following Sasuke and Naruto's journey til then, you provided an exquisite rendition from a wonderfully different perspective, a slightly more objective point of view if you will, that really, in my opinion, brought the characters to life and imbued them with hope for the future. I was really grateful for the light-hearted ending, which was serious enough to be taken seriously, and didn't just turn into a ball of fluff *sweatdrops* Lol. It also wants to make me beg you for short future fics in this more happy environment, but within the same verse that you created. I don't want to be separated from the charm that by the end you'd infused into your Naruto and Sasuke~! *hearts* I'll just have to look forward to more from you based on this pairing. Hoi, gambatte~!
