OMFG! I really love your stories! I especially like the way you portray Neji and Gaara. Their my two favorite characters, and now I think I lover them even more because of the story. I love all te outfits you have Gaara wear, too. Like the cowboy chaps, this story makes me laugh, alot. Naruto's character is really good also, it made me want to cry when the tape thing was explained. If it wouldn't be too much trouble, earlier in the sotry, in one of your updates, it said that if we requested, that you'd email us when you came out with a new chapter. Sweet Jesus Mother Mary of God, Thank you.

You have no idea how very, very long I have been waiting for this fic. The last time I read a fic like this, and was in the least bit satisfied by it, was back in my Gundam Wing days, with "A touch of human kindness" by the author, Heartfelt. (The fic is hosted on www.1x2x1.org) Ever since reading that, and its sequel, I have been searching for a fic in the naruto-verse that was its counter-part.

I can now confidently say that I have found that counterpart. I feel like a man who has found water after crossing the Mojave. For this, I am extremely grateful to you.

Other things to note, would be the in the characterization. As anyone who has read a review of mine knows, for me, characterization is next to godliness, and I mather on about it in every review ad nauseum. This review will be no different.

Of course my matherings will be cut short by the fact that I couldn't find any major things to criticize about. Naruto has some issues, but when placed in context with his past, this mitigates the OOC down to negligible; especially since I have no sure fire way of determining just how Naruto, or any character for that matter, would turn out after abuse that severe, therefore the author's estimation has to be accepted point blanc. No other character has any noticeable problem, as far as I can tell.

The plot, while being a touch predictable, is very interesting, and well thought out. It is not sloppy nor rushed. The not rushed part gives it very high points in my book, as it is one of my biggest pet peeves to have a perfectly amazing plot become forced and rushed because the author got bored, or whatever, and decided to just finish the fic, uncaring of the inherent massacre to the plot that such an action would create. It also has never had any extraneous parts or bits. I never once was reading this fic with a red pen going off in my head slashing out irrelevant bits of story line. Everything that you said, needed to be, and was said. One final note, don't get worked up about the predictable comment, that detracted from the fic almost negligibly, believe me this plot is in a class far above that of the usual rabble found about this site.

My final note would be a comment on the fic as a while: its good. Its damn good, by far one of the best I've read, and if you get nothing else out of this review, please remember this: this is an amazing story, amazing.

I highly anticipate the next chapter, and hope that I can read it soon.

P.S. You mentioned in your last chapter that this story was getting you down. If you want to get your creative juices flowing again or whatever, you should go check out "A Touch of Human Kindness." You don't need to know anything about GW, as it is an AU fic. It's a very similar fic to this one, and it may give you an idea or two if you need it. Just a thought.

YAY!!! I luv this story, but in reguards to gaara and neji i think it should be neji/gaara i dunno but gaara never seemed much of a seme to me :P but who knows. yeah so i really hope you continue this soon i was so sad when the end of the last chapter came cause there wasn't any more:( but here's hoping, great writing style and great plot it reminds me a tad of Pretty Woman hehe and i definately think that itachi needs to come back into the picture to recapture naruto or something but sasuke saves him and luvy doovey stuff ensues :P so please update soon its great :)

btw, it really pisses me off when people complain about authors asking for reviews. why do they think we WRITE our stories? sure, we do it because we LIKE to, but people telling us they like it makes it much easier for us to keep writing. I can say with brutal honesty that several of my fics (...none of which I have finished, unfortunately. --;;;) only got as far as they did because of the reviews I received. feedback is what keeps us authors ALIVE. ^^ the problem with people (and I've learned this from dealing with them while working at a school) is that they only see the side of the situation that affects them. they see us asking for reviews, and immediately think, "wow. what a greedy little bitch! they just want to boost their egos" or something and never really THINK that maybe the reason we want the reviews is to help us WANT to write. --;

...yeah, sorry 'bout the rant. ^^;; I just wanted to let you know how much I agreed with you.

Well, I just came across your fanfic today, I must say, this is a WONDERFUL spin on the cast of Naruto than I have been reading. I love how it is set in modern day and it just seems so real! You have got a wonderful talent for writing, I hope you keep updating on this story....I want to know how it ends!

Hi Again,

I just finished chapter 11, and again, it was great! I like Hinata's sweet, shy nature and the way she interacts with the other characters. Actually, all your character interactions are great, especially the easy banter between them whenever the group of them come together (dinner, discussing business).

The conversations between Neji and Sasuke are also nice to read because they seem so plausible and their later conversations really show how long they've come since the beginning of the story. Neji's "I missed being friends" very touching, and I'm glad they are getting along again. Yay!

Ha ha, Gaara's outfits are a blast! Hello Kitty tee shirt and chaps! Wow! I just keep on reading to see what he wears next; it's great :) (I also read Cassandra Claire's HP stuff, and I remember the leather-clad Draco; yum yum)

One last thing; I really like how you took these characters to an AU and kept most of their characters intact. The parallels you created are believeable and original. I think this is the best AU I've ever read so thank you for writing it. I love it!

Hey! I just read the 3rd chapter, and I really liked it. I don't know if you're doing it on purpose, but it is heeee-lareeeeous! Your Neji is yummy and him asking Naruto if he slept in the Linen Closet was a real laugh :) It looks like this story will be SasuNaru, though, right? Oh well. I also like how you sprinkle brand names around (Herbal Essences, Mike's Hard Lemonade). Also, your idea about anger management classes with Kakashi is really original, and then tying him to AA is great too.

I'm going to go read chapter 4 now, and then check out the rest of your stuff. Thanks for the great fic!
