This chapter overall was pretty steady. I have to admit that it was kind of hard reading the violence that Neji potrayed in the previous chapters but, you did noted that Hinata will better later on in the story. Is Hinata going to have a happy ending? One that will solve everything and possible grant her wishes?

Hey, Chidori! What's up?! I finally got back on, new name, new fics and all the greatness of my OC. lol. I haven't been able to post the fics just yet, as a lot of them still aren't done, except In The Shadows. I got a LeeXTenTen in the making along w/ a Neji/Shika/Kiba. That should turn out great! I gotta read it once I type it up (its on paper) to check for warps and stuff. Keep an eye out for me! I could use reviews from you! ;)

This is Shikas_Shadow from the Sacrifice for Shikamaru story. In case you haven't noticed, MY ACCOUNT HAS BEEN DELETED! I don't know why, but it has been. I don't know if it was done by someone like the owner of AFF or some jerk broke into my account and deleted it, but I don't know what to do! I love it and I wish that you would update more often. I'm somewhat okay with Neji forcing Hinata to.... do whatever. But, I'm wondering, is Sasuke secretly crushing on Hinata? Because I think it would keep the story progressing if Sasuke confessed to Hinata and Hinata, because she doesn't want to hurt Sasuke's feelings, shyly accept.

Then, with this going on, it will involve not only Neji and the trouble he is having with Tenten and Lee, it will involve Sakura, Ino, and Naruto. And it will be very interesting if such a thing happened. If it did happen, please keep Hinata with Sasuke. There's enough Neji/Hinata lemons as it is, and the Sasuke/Hinata lemon rage is practically noexistent.

This is really great, I'm likeing it a lot. Sadly, it has made me resent Neji-kun, which is hard since he is one of my favorite characters. Oooh how I hope he gets dscovered! Keep writing and PLEASE update soon!

Wow. The beginning was really, really good. I liked the later chapters as well, but they seemed to get really soft, whereas the darker nature of the first two really intrigued me. I can't wait to read more!

I was thinking that Sakura seems a bit out of character. She seems really mean. I mean I know she's not a saint like Hinata (who honestly could pass for one at times), but she seems like a bit of a bitch. Ahh. Excuse my language! But that is the way I percieved her in this. But that's not too big of a deal.

The last chapter did sort of seem kind of like random fluff, it made me laugh and it was cute, but I'm still a little confused with the whole appearence of Ebisu and all that. I mean I basically understand it, but I'm not sure I get why it's relevant. But then again, being relevant is boring.

Not really. But it can be.

Annnyways. Again, great story, can't wait to read more, blah blah blah. Best of luck

I like your writing even though the abuse to Hinata makes me very depressed, is there a chance of Hinata breaking free of her situation and ending up with her Naruto? Im gonna keep reading hoping so anyways. >^..^

Omg Sasuke nosebleed! XD I guess he does have a thing for Hinata then. Though how can anyone get a nosebleed from just a so-called indirect kiss? O.o;; This also reminds me of how in the previous chapter, Sasuke stiffled a cough After Hinata put away his underwear, not while she was holding it. What's going on in his mind? XD Anyway, the indirect kiss thing was more funny than gross. Then again, it might be because I've once read what gets exchanged in a kiss: saliva, proteins, a number of bacteria...

Uh... so according to the magazine, you've just made Sasuke to be shy while being a possibly shady boyfriend. Weird. Um... if he's shy though, and since Hinata obviously is too shy to make any advances (not to mention that she's the last one to be interested in Sasuke), how the hell is anything going to happen between the two? Oh well.

Hinata's had perv images of Naruto. :3 That was rather hilarious.

It's a relief to find out that Neji wasn't the one to change her. I'm rather curious though... from the description given, it might be interpreted that Neji looked for and applied medecine in a rather panicked manner, to erase the signs no doubt. But it might also be that he didn't anticipate just how much injuries he's left on her. Does he feel any guilt for it? Even after the first time he kissed her, he did apologize (didn't stop him from starting all over but still...), so does he feel at least a Bit that this is wrong, even as he continues to abuse her? (a bit like how abusive boyfriends and husbands are, they act all guilty afterwards but in the meantime...) And given how sloppily he applied the medecine... did he use the opportunity to touch her more?

Shino is actually a bit creepy in this chapter. Then again, maybe you've always intended him to be like this. For me it seems to be a result of him not speaking out immediately, of hesitating before confronting Hinata. Ah well.

Hinata is about to deliver the notes from her father... *cringes* Even if she's forced to train with Neji, would she at least still be attending school? Otherwise, whose homework is Naruto going to copy? Eh...

Damn it Neji, Hinata isn't Tenten! Hinata should tell him that... not that it'd do the situation any good, it might even get him more mad. >_> Damn it Tenten, this is also your fault, what exactly did you do to get Neji this possessive, why can't you just break it off? Well, she probably did try to...

I really like the way you portray things in this fic. Hinata's victim mentality is depicted in a very interesting way: she's in denial, repressing her thoughts, and indeed, trying to think of more positive things instead. She even interrupted her line of thoughts which would have lead her to the conclusion that Neji probably did all the bandaging himself (not necessarily, but if Hanabi were helping and saw how sloppy he is, she probably would have taken over). Where did the night gown come from? And she tells herself that not telling is better, she's isolating herself and trying to convince herself that it will all pass. Who does Hinata think she's fooling...

Neji is... violent, obviously frustrated. As he said himself, he took on Hinata as just a means to an end in the beginning. Though... it seems that he enjoys his cousin's presence more than he thought he would, so it seems that he wouldn't mind being in an "affectionate" relationship with her, whatever that translates into in his twisted mind. At least... holding hands and all that, even if Hinata's still a mere means to an end. He's using her to compensate for not having Tenten, but if this goes on, he might transfer everything else, which would be devastating for poor Hinata: right now, Neji doesn't care for example that Hinata likes Naruto, but if he starts seeing her as a replacement for Tenten in every aspect...

Sasuke, his role in this fic isn't 100% clear. Sure, it seems that you might have plans for him, but at this stage he just seems mildly curious by her infatuation with Naruto. He'll also be having Sakura and Ino on his back, THAT will be rather fun to read (the part about Hinata quickly putting back Sasuke's underwear was funny as well. Eh-heh, nope, that's not Naruto's).

Shino seems likes the person Hinata can trust most in this story. He obviously suspects that something has gone wrong, though being his quiet self, he won't speak it out, though by arriving early each day it seems as though he wants to tell Hinata that he's there for her. He's obviously concerned for her, while apparently also having feelings for her, but to the opposite of Neji, he doesn't insist on anything. He's just there in case Hinata needs any help. I personally like this portrayal, as things go worse at least there's one person Hinata can trust.

Interestingly enough, not all cultures consider cousin relationships as incest. Many royal families have been known to "interbreed" in order to keep the line "pure" as well. Obviously though, in this particular fic NejiHina should be considered incest for story purposes. We'll see. Oh yes, and unless I'm mistaken, Neji told Hiashi that Hinata's doing poorly, and asked to train her instead? Are those what those letters are for? Poor Hinata. Well, at least she really will improve fast. With the threat of getting raped in case she loses on the front of her mind, she sure wouldn't back down until she absolutely won't be able to get up again. =
