I like the story. But it was a bit confusing when it switched between flashbacks and present time without warning. So it was hard to tell if it was in the past or in the present. If Sasuke had stayed gay the wedge wouldn't have been put between Naruto and Sasuke. If Hinata had never been killed then everything would have been fine, and Naruto wouldn't say he'd never forgive him. If Naruto had stayed gay, he wouldn't have lost his friend Hinata so brutally. Nonetheless I quite enjoyed it, keep up the good work I'd love to read more of your work!

Oh my god, I've waited literally ten years to read the ending of this story. I read it multiple times up until the part where the kids were attacked and Naruto and Sasuke ran off to find them and I don't know when you finished it, but I am SO glad! Ten years later I finally find the ending and I am relieved it's on a happy note. My heart could not stand anymore angst. This story type setting is my all time favorite, for some reason past baggage is fascinating to me, particularly when others are unaware of it.

Plus you had the most creative OC characters I've ever seen. You managed to make interesting twelve year olds. I find other people make their secondary characters a little too flat. Still to this day, even though we know now who Sasuke's kid realy is, I imagine the twins as his real kids. They just fit him so perfectly.

This even inspired my own type one shot where Naruto comes back after many years, Naruto and Sasuke had a past relationship that no one knew about. I don't know why those are my favorite and it's extremely rare to find a past!relationship story. With the end of this one it really makes me want to write another. Sasuke and Naruto always had a relationship that no one else understood or could possibly rival. They're two halves to a whole.

Anyways, just thank you again for finishing the story. I spent a month trying to track it down again and reread it thinking it was still incomplete (but I liked it so much I was okay with that, that's how good it is!) and to find out it's finished...I never imagined it was possible, really. People move on. So thank you for finishing it. You are amazing.

I reread this story again after a few years and was reminded why I got into sasunaru fanfiction in the first place. Your story is so well crafted, I really felt like crying at the end I was so moved. I know you've moved on to ofic, and probably have given up on the series, but I hope you'll write some more naruto fanfiction someday.

One of the best stories I've read so far. I loved that Sasuke had kids and Naruto wasn't his usual self. And the healing ability was just awesome.

@The Daxinator - In case you didn't notice my notes, I wrote (and published) this story in 2003, before all the other stories of similar theme came out. :)

Oh la la! I wasn't sure about this one from the summary. Everybody does the "Main character leaves for x-amount of years and is suddenly back--what EVER will happen???" But after this first chapter, I'm thrilled that you've taken a shot at it as well. I find it hard to believe, but I'm actually excited to read this! I know that sounds like a back-handed compliment, but forgive me please; I beta for two different people who have BOTH tormented me in the last year and a half with attempts at that theme until I had to tell them to can the projects. Like I said though, I'm excited about "Homecoming" though.

This last chapter made me cry. I really don't know why I cried because this wasn't a sad chapter. I really loved this fanfiction and I hope that I can read as good fanfictions in the future too.
