So glad to see this updated. I was surprised that you brought Sasuke back so quickly (although I am glad), but then maybe not so quickly considering the size of your chapters. I really enjoy your stories and am glad to see that you will continue this fic. The only problem I have with this story is attemting to keep track of the constant POV changes. They are really distracting and take away from fully enjoying your writing.

Well, I was begining to loose hope. This is by far the best fanfiction I've ever read and I've been chacking it every day since...... a long time ago anyway. The way you depict the characters is exactly how I'd imagine them reacting in this situation. Nothing appears out of character.... Well obviously Sasuke does because of circumstances, but everything else is perfect. I really enjoy reading this, and I love how long your chapters are too, it makes it really easy to slide into the sotry and enjoy it thoroughly. Keep up the good work guys. ^^

    Oh. My. Holy. God.

For starters, I have been following this story religiously for a looong time now, and I have to say that it is the single most incredible and well-written Naru/Sasu story out of the many (it seems like hundreds ^_^') I have read. Not only is the plot fantastic, but your characterization has always been spot-on, your writing style is incredible, and the smut is veeeeery tasty! XD I've laughed, I've cried, and felt more pissed off at that little shit lordling than I generally am at real people. It's an amazingly well done story, I simply can't praise it enough, and if I could without completely bugging the crap out of you, I'd write all 50 reviews myself so that I can read the next installment! ;)

Now that I'm done sucking up like a loser, I'd like to let you know some of the more specific things I especially liked in this chapter:

The fact that Sasuke is blind and has amnesia now, I was a little worried about, because I thought it was a little cliche, but you worked it in and did it well so that I was very pleasantly surprised. It works for this, and doesn't feel stretched or contrived.

I also LOVE the fact that even though Sasuke has amnesia, he still "remembers" Naruto. I was all afraid Naruto would just end up getting even MORE depressed when Sasuke treated him like a stranger, but this was much better and the angst was still in there.

Overall, I loved this chapter as I do all your work, and I can't wait for the next one. I will be hopefully waiting for everyone else to review. Please, please, PLEASE get it out soon, or I may die..... :)

Awesome-ness. I absolutely adore the entire plotline, especially the bond between Naruto and Sasuke. Their relationship is depicted in such a way that it's believable, and I commend you guys on keeping them all in character. I understand how hard that can be to do. Anyhow, my closing plea is thus: Please update soon! I want to see Sasuke regain his old arrogant spark, 'cause even though he's a so-called 'ice bastard', whom we all love, I like the idea that he isn't nearly as fragile as the element suggests. He's a resilient 'ice bastard' in my opinion.

P.S. – "Great Job! Update soon."

I used to be a fellow reader/reviewer of 'Reflections,' but sadly, now I'm afraid I've lost interest in the story as a whole. At first, I remember when people were slightly 'iffy' about how Reflections was written in alternating POVs, but after the second chapter or so, readers became more accepting of it and the style grew on them. As an author, I know how hard it is to gain reviews from readers, as well as keep their interest piqued throughout the story. It's a daunting task, at best, and inspiration often dries up before you get halfway through. It almost becomes a chore, sometimes, to write the next chapter; I've been there, many times.

Though, I feel that your methods of writing are wrong: You should never, as an author, 'threaten' reviewers with no 'next chapter' unless they crack down and review for you; doing so only hurts readers and makes you come off as egotistical. I've been writing in various fandoms for over eight years, and I've often seen authors that use such a method to garner reviews from unwilling or procrastinating fans, so what you two are doing is not, by all accounts, 'new' for fandoms -- but it's still not right, either.

I've come to find that there are three types of writers, overall:

    1) Authors that write for themselves, and no one else.
    2) Authors that write for fans or friends, and no one else.
    3) Authors that write for themselves, and also fans or friends.

It's your prerogative whether you post your story for fans to see. Both of you have that option, and that's the beauty of writing: Everything is up to you, in the end. However, it is inappropriate to require anything of your fans for them to read a new chapter. The only authors in the world that have that privilege are published authors who make their fans pay money to read their works, and even then, fans can still go to a local bookstore/library and spend the day reading it there, for free. Since you both write in a fandom (and no profit is gained from your writing an idea that is not yours in all reality), readers are not obligated to hand you reviews on a platter as if you were published authors. Ethically, grouping your fans with that of a dog being awarded a treat after completing a trick correctly is an insult to reviewers, as well as the fandom.

If you really want reviews for ‘Reflections’ then post it on various MLs, LJ communities, and other fanfiction archives; instead of relying on only Aff.net for reviews, expand your empire so that you’ll get more reviewer responses… but don’t ‘reward’ fans only if they review your fic with replies that are longer than one sentence. Most authors are lucky if the even get fifty reviews for a seven-chaptered story – especially on Aff.net. Some of my own stories received lots of reviews, some didn’t; that’s just how it is in fandoms. Hopefully this review will serve to encourage both of you to not rely on such a methodology in the fandom, as it is improper to practice. I’m almost positive that my review will be deleted and treated as flame, but I hope that it might change your views on how authors should act in a fandom. If nothing else, hopefully this long review about your story will serve as at least ‘half’ the 50-reviews quota that you’ve unfairly placed upon your fans; what you decide to do is up to you, now. Just don’t make your fans suffer for your own wants and desires.

Well... I understand how annoying it can be to see that your hit count is about twenty times your review count, but it's still annoying when authors demand a certain amount of reviews before updating. But then... you're under no obligation to update, and it is rude of people to read your story without reviewing it. I guess I just get annoyed because I'm one of those people that reviews basically everything they read, mostly because I enjoy giving feedback. Besides the fact that I'm an author too, and know I would appreciate the reviews.

Aaanyway... loving the story. Even with Sasuke's amnesia, he's still... Sasuke, in a way. His thoughts more than his actions, especially the way that he's annoyed that Naruto's taller than him, but doesn't know why. And how he was briefly bothered by appearing feminine. Just a great job, over all. You pull your readers into the story. If this was a book, it would be one of those ones that I couldn't put down until I had reached the end (despite possible bed sores and dehydration, since it's nice and long *kidding*), which is probably why I'm already starving for an update.

@_@ How can such a long chapter leave us in such suspense? The mark of a good writer (or writers, in this case), I say. This chapter was really... bittersweet, I guess, with emphasis on the sweet. It's great to see Sasuke and Naruto back together, but so many things are still unfinished-- Sasuke's sight and memories, Naruto's Kyuubi problems... here's hoping it all works out and we get a happy ending!

I adore how long your chapters are. And, while it just kills me that Sasuke's hair is gone and he's all scarred and is blind, I still feel like a weight has been lifted knowing that Sasuke and Naruto are back together again. That's how much your story draws me in. I can't wait for the next chapter, I'm dying to see if they're able to fix his sight, and if he gets his memories back. It's also good to know that we won't have to worry about the kyuubi for a while, since Naruto throroughly kicked his ass. Here's hoping he does the same to lord bastard, and I'll look forward to the next chapter!

Oh my gosh! That was so great! Thank you thank you thank you! .... Sorry. Spaz attack. But all spazzing aside, that was so wonderful. I felt so sad when Naruto saw Sasuke all scarred up. Poor Sasuke too, so close to his memories and yet so far... So great. I am really, really looking forward to your updates in the future!
